What kind of potatoes are not as bitter and earthy tasting as usual? - potatoes and abscesses

Aside from sweet potatoes, what kind of potatoes are not so bitter. I love the taste of flakes of potatoes in the fields to be mixed with a little butter, water and milk. But when I try to eat a baked potato plain, the taste is just as bitter taste of dirt. Yuck. I hate it. So, what the Pope did not like it?

Yukon Gold potatoes are great and a little natural sweetness. Russett are dry type and get mealy and most are good for cooking.

Red or white potatoes are also great potato salad or mashed potatoes.

Small potatoes, red skin (pick out of the box, do not buy it to be) in his pocket, tender and tasty. Yukon Gold, large or small are fantastic Creamiers whites are the best, in my opinion, but can be very time consuming. Make sure you scrub your potatoes so they do not like the earth, yes, ugh! I also think that if you cook your potatoes, salt water, a little more than usual (do not worry, it will not absorb the salt), or chicken cooked in a vegetable broth (I Most of the time) and a less bitter taste or earthy? I love cooking with baby red potatoes. Be sure to wash the potatoes before cooking with them, but ... who can help with the taste of the earth lol,
